On November 21, 2018, the Swedish Embassy hosted a reception at which the Kährs Group introduced the public to Kährs, the premium parquet brand. Well-known Moscow designers and architects were invited to the event, having a hand in many well-known projects.

Ambassador of Sweden to Russia Peter Erickson was the first to take the floor. He wished everyone a pleasant evening and also noted the importance of developing Swedish-Russian relations. After that, Kährs Group CEO Kristen Persen took the stage. He thanked the audience for their interest in the Kährs brand and expressed hope for further strengthening of the Swedish manufacturer's position in Russia and the CIS countries. Alexey Pechorin, General Director of Kährs Group in Russia, welcomed the guests, noting the progress that the company has made in recent years, he also expressed gratitude to the designers for their great contribution to popularizing the Kährs brand on the market.

Then the public's attention was riveted to the presentation of the latest parquet board decors from Johan Nykvist, Chief Brand Manager of Kährs in Russia. He presented the novelties of the 2019 assortment, and also spoke a little about the history of the company, its roots and the principles that it adheres to in its own development.

The official part was completed with a speech by Konstantin Sokolov, Head of the Moscow office of the Swedish architectural agency Semren&Mansson. In his speech, he highlighted the main trends in the development of Scandinavian interior design and those companies that have contributed here.

After a rich informational part, the guests moved to the ambassador's residence, where an exquisite buffet with Swedish cuisine, light jazz and magnificent decorated interiors awaited them. In such a solemn atmosphere, the guests could talk about professional topics, as well as get to know the decors of Kährs parquet boards at the exposition organized here.

We spent this evening with pleasure in the company of talented, interesting people, having received a charge of positive emotions.
